Based on 183 reviewsYakiniku Shokudo in Jurong East is widely recognized for its inviting atmosphere and attentive customer service, with staff frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness in guiding diners through the menu. The restaurant’s yakiniku offerings, particularly the beef and chicken sets, are noted for their flavorful and tender quality, though some patrons find the beef portions on the smaller side. The value for money and comfortable seating contribute to a pleasant dining experience, with efficient table service enhancing overall satisfaction. While the menu focuses strongly on yakiniku, some feedback suggests that incorporating additional variety, such as tempura items, could further elevate the dining options. Overall, Yakiniku Shokudo is appreciated as a reliable spot for casual yet satisfying Japanese BBQ, drawing both first-timers and repeat customers alike.
I often this outlet a lot because food is great, value for money but most importantly - their exceptional service. The manager Ania was very prompt and special kudos to the outstanding part-timer Haliza for her top notch service. Well done to the team for making it such a pleasant dining experience.
First time tried and give me a surprise.Ordered a beef karubi chicken set 180g. The heat equipment that apply to BBQ the meats is just great, source that provide with the meats is well mix that tasted very nice (somehow). The size of the meats for beef seem too small and very thin where chicken is acceptable.I like the chicken more than the beef. Is a restaurant to try and may go back again someday.
It was our first time there and we were not familiar with all the cuts and platters available but thankfully our server Nia did an excellent job of recommending us the various platters so that we would have a great experience dining there. She was so friendly and patient with us. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience there.
First time trying yakiniku shokudo. Was quiet for Sunday 1pm but crowd starts coming in ard 1:45pm Had 160g beef karubi set and it was good. 14.9 is quite a portion with rice. They sat us at a shared table but allow us to change for a lil more privacy.. Overall I think it's a great experience..
Friendly staff. Plates are cleared fast. Meats are delicious and tender. Comfortable seating. If the menu has some tempura items would be even better. Truly enjoyed the dinner.
Good service. Ordered the karubi sambal set and WOW it was awesome. The beef was tender and juicy with a good amount of marbling/fat. Thoroughly enjoyed the sambal which had a KICK to it!Of course, not the best cuts or highest quality beef but for this price, its alright!Overall, from pricing to food quality, you will not be disappointed. 10/10!
Great food! The meat doesnt taste frozen and the mushroom was good (as recommended by others here). Had both chicken and beef set and I enjoyed both! Was feeling stressed about the 60min dining though it was only 6pm and not crowded yet when I went in. They didnt chase us (or anyone) out but more of a pyschological stress on my end seeing the signs clearly pasted everywhere understandably.
been real eager to try out this particular food eatery after hearing its' halal certification release and would simply rate it a good 9.8/10. top-notch customer service from staffs that was assisting us on 14/11 (dinner slot) as we were both provided with lots of guidance from them. we both ordered their chef's recommended: shokudo full set (25.90) was real amazed with the portion size. had to order a couple of ala-carte portion since we've skipped lunch but overall a good starter for an Halal yakiniku experience in Singapore.
